Bright Lights Illuminate Dolakha, Switching to Smart Lighting in Nepal

The main thoroughfare of Bazaar and Pashupati Chok in Dolakha now shine brightly with a total of 9 lights, including 8 floodlights and 2 high-mast lights, consisting of 65 watts and 120 watts. Four years ago, in collaboration with the electricity authority, Bhimeshwar Municipality initiated the installation of smart streetlights in the market area, aiming to transform Charikot into a smart city. This successful implementation of the lighting project in 2079 has illuminated the streets of Dolakha, ushering in a brighter and smarter future for the region.
