Immediate Implementation of Former Chief Justice's Order Postponed Following Appointment of New Chief Justice

A request opposing the recommendation made to appoint the Chief Justice following the amendment of laws related to the Constitutional Council was filed at the Supreme Court on Wednesday. Although the former Chief Justice, Sapan Pradhan Mall, had issued a directive to file the request on Monday, it was only registered after the appointment of the new Chief Justice.
