Individual Arrested for Attempting to Drive Tesla Cybertruck in Water
In a Texas reservoir, a person was caught by local law enforcement trying to operate a Tesla Cybertruck in water after puncturing a tire with the use of the vehicle's 'wade mode.' The feature allows the vehicle to be driven in water up to a maximum depth of 81.5 centimeters, causing the truck to submerge when activated. The Tesla Cybertruck is an electric pickup truck made of bullet-resistant steel with a starting price of at least $70,000. The driver was accused of driving the vehicle in a restricted area of the reservoir and obstructing water safety equipment.
