Deepak-Dipale Begin Shooting for 'Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2', Sanisha Joins the Cast

In a promising start, actor Deepak Raj Giri commenced shooting for the upcoming film 'Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2' on Monday. The film, directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, is a sequel to the acclaimed 2019 movie 'Chha Maya Chhapakkai' known for its engaging social and political storyline. Following a ceremonial puja at the Surya Vinayak Temple in Bhaktapur, Deepak Raj Giri revealed that the movie will be shot in locations including Pokhara, Nuwakot, and Kathmandu. The positive vibe continued as three artists were publicly announced by Giri to be part of the filming process, signaling a fresh and exciting chapter for the film production. Noteworthy is the addition of Sanisha Bhattarai to the cast, alongside lead actors Deepak Raj Giri, Keeki Adhikari, and the absence of Kedar Ghimire. Deepak, who also co-wrote the script, shared his enthusiasm for introducing a new character in the sequel, highlighting the creative evolution of the project. 'Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2' is being produced under the banners of Aama Saraswati Movies, Rohit Aadhikari Films, and IME Movies, with Rohit Aadhikari as the producer. The executive producers, Nirmal Sharma and Suraj Bam Thakuri, are optimistic about the production process, aiming for a release around the festive season of Dashain.
