Outstanding Individuals Honored in Makwanpur
In a celebratory event held during the institute's 21st Annual General Meeting and 8th Convention, Makwanpur honored a group of exceptional individuals, including renowned folk singer Raju Pariyar. Pariyar was presented with the prestigious 'Ramkrishna Baniya Memorial Folk Music Award' along with a cash prize of 20,000 rupees for his remarkable achievements in the music industry. Additionally, the institute bestowed the 'Tulsimaya-Shivkumari Creative Woman Award' and the 'Bhim-Mathura Child Talent Award' to deserving recipients, further highlighting the diverse talents within the community. The event also recognized individuals like health worker Raju Gurung and artist Amir Bhojan with special awards, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging excellence in various fields. The program not only showcased the talents of the honorees but also commended the efforts of senior artist Bhim Virag, who founded the institute in 2059 B.S. and has since made significant contributions to the Nepali literary realm both locally and internationally.
