Mumbai - Indian actor Annu Kapoor has taken steps to defend actress Tamanna Bhatia's looks following a controversial expression he used in praise of her beauty in the popular song "Aaj Ki Raat" from the film "Stree 2," which had sparked criticism on social media. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, the 71-year-old actor broke his silence on the matter, stating that he only intends to appreciate without intending to insult anyone. Kapoor emphasized that while the term "Dudhiya Badan" in Nepali and Hindi may be offensive to some, he reiterated that he was using a double standard of measurement rather than harboring any ill intentions. Bhatia's age being a factor in the discussion, Kapoor also denied holding any negative feelings towards her, asserting that he has no malice and is ready to apologize if his words have hurt the actress. He further stated, "If Tamanna feels that my words have offended her, I am ready to apologize. What does a 71-year-old man achieve by offending her? I know my truth and my intentions are clear."
