Auto Driving Training Provided to 50 Women Temporarily Residing to Educate Children in Birendranagar

In Birendranagar, Karnali Province, the government has provided auto driving training to mothers who are temporarily residing there to educate their children. A total of 50 mothers from various locations in Karnali participated in the training, aiming to support their children's education in Birendranagar city. During the training completion session, the Minister of Social Development, Ghanshyam Bhandari, highlighted the provision of SIP-based training for the empowerment and self-reliance of women. Emphasizing the importance of engaging in self-employment activities for self-reliance, he mentioned the government's continuous support in such endeavors. Bhandari also mentioned that in addition to auto driving, programs such as pickle making, sewing, cake baking, poultry farming, and tailoring training have been implemented. Previously, Birendranagar Municipality had also conducted similar programs, and currently, a significant number of women in Birendranagar are earning their living through auto driving.
